River Day was celebrated in town this week, mainly due to work schedules. Jay and Ted were the only ones that were flexible, I had a late meeting, Tim was iffy, and Pat was a no show. So we gathered at our back up spot - Jay's shop.
Despite not being at the river, we had a good holiday, as every River Day is. Since we were inside, I won't comment on the weather, and we did not have a fire, for obvious reasons.
Sorry that no one thought to take any pics this week - maybe an audio recording would have been more appropriate. We've come to the conclusion that we need to start work on the Rivertarian Christmas album. As you might imagine, this will by necessity come with an age restricted warning. Our version of the old classics is neither kid friendly, nor politically correct. Go figure.
Anyway, just wanted to chronicle this week's River Day and wish everyone out there a Happy Holiday.
