River Day 12/19/2016

Merry Christmas!

This week's River Day celebration was the last Monday before Christmas, and everyone was able to make it to the camp; Tim, Jay, Ted, Pat and myself.  Pat drove all the way from New York to be there.  I'm pretty sure he just didn't want to miss the classic Christmas songs playing.  The weather was good, but a little cooler than last week - somewhere around the 30 degree mark.

Freddy came by bearing gifts again this year - 6 of them, in green bottles.  And the Rivertarians had  little gift for him as well - a large can of gravy.  Sounds odd, but that's what he told Santa he wanted.

There wasn't too much activity away from the fire.  Something about being on the water makes those cooler temps feel so much colder.  As you can tell from the photo, we were all bundled up pretty good, but the fire felt great.  Tim pulled his vehicle up close so we could enjoy some music.  Not having electricity any longer has forced us to make some changes.

The annual Christmas gathering is always a good time, and this year was no different.

To all our faithful followers, Merry Christmas!
