Fall Camping Trip: October 21 - 25, 2026

This blog doesn't get much attention anymore, but we'll keep posting the annual Fall Camping Trip until there isn't a Fall Camping Trip.

This year we were at the traditional spot - Lake Sherwood in Greenbrier County, WV.  It was a little unusual as the camping loop was nearly full the whole time we were there.  Thankfully we were able to get sites adjacent to each other.  The weather was about as good as it gets in late October: days in the 60's and nights in the 30's, and except for a small period of time, clear blue skies.

The regular Rivertarians were there: Ted, Jay, Tim and me (Mark).  We did have a visit from Pat one afternoon.  Glad he made the drive up for a visit.

We didn't get into much this year, just good food, a nice fire, maybe a few cold ones, and of course great company.

Below are some of the photos taken during the trip.  I've tried keeping them in chronological order, but some were a little hard to remember exactly when they were taken.

Enjoy.
