River Day 06/13/2011

Jay, Tim and I (Mark) made it down to the river this week, at the same spot we were at last week - just above Mill Creek. We thought the fishing at that spot was bad last week, but it was much worse this time around - we all came up empty handed (rodded?).

The temperature was 10-15 degrees cooler this week than last also, maybe around 70 degrees or so, but other than that it was a good evening with clear skies.

There was a little "traffic" on the beach this week; a family was camped about a hundred yards below us, and a couple of older gentlemen wandered through doing a little fishing. We even had some river traffic - kayaks, canoes, rafts.

We did build a small fire this week, and from every direction we could see, it was the best on the river.

I forgot to take a camera this week, so the photos posted here were taken with a cell phone; sorry if the quality isn't so hot.
