Prayer Meeting 02/19/2021

Ted, Jay and I got together at Jay's for this week's end of week meeting.  Winter has definitely reared its head this month; cold temps and wind were the order for the evening.  Glad I had a much shorter walk than Ted.  But at least it wasn't pouring snow.

Part of our discussion was on the strange weather going on in Texas, and people's lack of alternate heating.  As committed Rivertarians, we brought up the ability to heat at least a small area with a good old fashioned Coleman mushroom (catalytic) heater.  We couldn't believe the prices that some people are asking for those on sites like Ebay, which of course led to Jay breaking his out for inspection.

It also turned out to be a nice evening for a couple of rounds of darts, which we haven't done for a bit.  The first game went by fairly quickly, but the second may have gone on for a few days.  Or at least it seemed like it.  Always a good opportunity for some laughs and trash talking.

As usual, our weekly "Prayer Meeting" is a good way to wind down and let off some steam.  Looking forward to next week already!
