River Day 01/09/2016

So I'm a little late posting this week, but we did indeed celebrate River Day Monday, at the river no less.  Tim, Pat, and I made it down to camp for the first snowy River Day of this winter season.  Temps were in the low 30's - about 30 degrees warmer than the weekend had been.  And as you can see in the photos, we had leftover snow on the ground.

Pat brought down several pallets, and we still had some from previous weeks, so we had plenty to burn.  Getting a fire going was a bit of a chore, but we did okay.  One of the local yahoos had piled green brush on top of our existing woodpile, so Tim had to do a little rearranging to get to some of the dryer stuff.

Freddy paid his weekly visit to round out the afternoon.  He even had to make a return trip back to the house for a refill.

Not too much going on this Monday, just hung around the fire mostly.  Hate that the other guys weren't able to join us.

As always, Happy River Day!
