Only 3 of us were able to make it to the river this week: Jay, Ted and Mark.
As you can tell from these pictures, the river level is still way up and probably came up another 4 feet or so while we were there. The next morning (Tuesday) was when the real flooding occurred; the water was just under the floor of the camp and the metal building one of these pictures was taken from was in all probability destroyed.

It was snowing in Beckley at the top of the mountain, but at river level we only had rain. We also saw a guy get hit by a vehicle, but we won't list any details here so no one has to testify. Gotta love domestics.

Oh, and for the record, we still had the best fire on the river.
