River Day/Labor Day 09/04/2017

Well, I'm pretty sure this is a first for River Day.  This week it was celebrated at my house (partially).  Ted and Jay got together at Jay's for a while, then moseyed  down to my house for the remainder of the afternoon.  We were even joined by Trish and Hayden (not pictured) on the deck for a while.  The weather was beautiful - clear and in the mid 70's.

I originally was going to spend the day on a household project, just to validate the whole "Labor" Day thing, but that quickly went bust.  So after some opinions from my fellow Rivertarians, all seriousness was disposed of.  There are some inherent dangers from not having to drive home, that we don't typically see at the river, but no one seemed to be complaining.

Not your typical River Day, but there aren't really any rules anyway.  I for one am thankful to have spend my River Day with a couple of great friends.  Wish everyone else could have celebrated with us.

I am sorry to report that there was no fire.
