The first River Day of 2013 brought everyone out: Ted, Jay, Tim, Kevin, Pat (yes, even Pat), and I (Mark). The weather wasn't especially nice (upper 30's, clear). The timing just seemed to work out for everyone. We all made it down a little earlier than usual, and we all left a little earlier than usual. The river level was up a good bit this week; not as high as it usually gets in the winter/spring, but higher than it's been for several months. No one tried to do any fishing, guess it's still a little early, or late, for that, but it won't be long now. It didn't come up in conversation, but I'm not sure anyone's even bought their '13 licenses yet.
As is usual with the colder weather, most of the activity was centered around or near the fire. With all the wood Jay has been bringing down, we certainly had a hot one.
