River Day - 04/19/2010
Everyone was out of town this week except for Ted and I, but we still had a nice River Day. Temps were in the mid-60's, we had clear skies, and the fish were biting.
Most of the evening was spent on beginning repairs to the building. I think all of us have been ready to write it off as fuel for the fire, but Ron is determined to get it back together for at least the summer season. He had already straightened the walls up a bit over the weekend.
Ron came down and Ted and I helped him "pull" the floor back together, with a come-along; something you don't see every day.
One of the neighbors, Freddy, supervised when we started adding sheets of chip board to the walls. He figured he needed to supervise since he was the only one wearing a hat, and carrying a beer.
He did have some good ideas, and as you can tell from the pictures, the building is well on it's way to being stable again.
