Rivertarian Christmas 12/30/2025

 

As another year closes the "Monday guys", the "River guys", "Rivertarians", or whatever else we've been called over the years, got together once again to have our Christmas celebration.  We all made it out to Jay's on a cold snowy afternoon: Jay, Tim, Ted and myself.

As seldom as I get to hang out anymore, it didn't take long for the laughs to start.  We've said many times that it would be interesting to listen/watch a recorded episode of one of our meetings.  That's probably not a great idea as political correctness never really enters into our conersations.

We had a couiple of toasts (eggnog), did our annual gift exchange, listened to some music, and generally had a very relaxing time.

Tim played bartender, providing the drink, the cups, and even the nutmeg.

I am thankful for this tradition, and especially thankful for those I get to celebrate it with.
