Jay, Ted and I were able to get together this Friday evening and for a change there was no snow. In it's place we had rain, and lots of it. Oh well, nice and dry in the shop.
We always make jokes that if you need something, it's probably in Jay's shop. I mostly thought that only applied to tools or hardware, but he surprised me this week - need a white cane? Sure, I have one of those!
You never know what kind of goodies this guy has accumulated.

Due to work schedules Jay called for an impromptu meeting of the Rivertarians a day early. All four of us - Jay, Ted, Tim and I - were able to make it (for a change) to enjoy an afternoon of laughs and a few cold ones.
Not much going on this go-round but it was great catching up with everyone.
So, I thought I'd start out the new year by trying to make regular posts to this blog again. It's been mostly neglected for the last few years. Too much history here to just let it fade away.
Jay, Tim, Ted and I (surprise!) were able to get together at Jay's for a snowy, end of week celebration. Okay, maybe it was just me celebrating actually being able to hang out for a change, but it was a good time.
We actually celebrated our Rivertarian Christmas just before the New Year holiday, so I'm adding a couple of pics from that to this post. Seems appropriate since we had some "left over" adult egg nog.
