Prayer Meeting 10/22/2021

We had the full compliment of Rivertarians this past Friday for our end-of-week get together: Pat, Ted, Jay, Tim, and me.  William was also around this week and will be joining us for his first ever appearance at the annual fall camping trip.

Most of the evening was spent discussing the woes and downfall of society in our country as we know it.  We didn't fix anything, but man does it feel good being able to gripe about it with like-minded people.  And of course we spent a good bit of time finalizing the details for the camping trip.

As always there were many side turns in our conversation including the fact that the second telephone pole in front of Jay's was finally removed during the week.  It was rotten and most of the lines had been moved over years ago.  And there was a brief mention of the time Tim's rod got stuck.

The weather was nice but temps were nippy enough that we decided to stay in the shop for the evening.  Toward the end, young William decided to break out a new (to me anyway) beverage, which for some strange reason went down very well.

All in all, another great gathering with great people.

Catch Up Post 10/2021

Other than Jay's post for 10/01/21 there haven't been any made for all of October.  Shame on us.  Rest assured we have been meeting regularly this month, we just haven't taken the time to put anything here.

That said, here are a few photos that I've taken during this time.  No story, just the pics:

Vacation starts this afternoon and after much worry and fuss about it, we're right around the corner from our fall camping trip.  I'm ready for it!
