River Day 8/24/20

Hello all! Tim,Ted,Pat and Jay celebrated the River day!

Monday River Day

It was a good river day thanks to Tim,Ted,Pat and Jay! We all spent the late afternoon sitting on my front porch enjoying the nice sunny weather and lots of good conversations. No pics this post and I also wanted to thank the guys whom attened last Friday..Enjoy the rest of the week! The Dog days of summer are just about over! Just saying.....

River Day 08/10/2020

 

Everyone was present and attended this week's celebration of National River Day.  Jay, Ted, Tim, Pat and I all got together at Jay's for an afternoon of relaxation.  Well, mostly relaxation.  From the picture Ted sent me, I must have "missed" a little physical labor.

We had nice weather for a little front porch story telling and catching up - sunny skies and temps in the 80's.  As long as it took for things to finally feel like summer, you can tell that fall won't be far behind: late summer bug noises, coaches whistles from the football field, and some plants drying up already.

Great spending time with everyone, as usual.

River Day 08/03/2020 - Prayer Meeting 08/07/2020

 Another quiet River Day this week attended by Tim, Ted, Jay and myself.  It was a rainy afternoon, but it was fine on the porch.

Not too much to report, just a good afternoon hanging around talking and catching up.

Decided to make this one a two-fer and report on the weekly Prayer Meeting as well.  Jay, Ted and I attended this one.  Oh, and Hayden also.

And just like River Day, no pics.  Sorry for slacking.

Last prayer mtg of July

July 31,2020 Yes the weather report was screwed up again! Tim,Ted,and I celebrated regardless of what they where predicting as far as the forecast.Once again we found ourselves discussing about the fall camping trip, you all know what I'm talking about! You know the food,wood,snacks,baseball gloves,most importantly the head count!Of course we should be ok if somebody brings jambalaya! Anyway we had a great meeting,thanks to Lori for sitting with us for a little bit,Ted did get educated on flowers...Hey Tim aren't we suppose to be in Dublin this weekend? Keep it green this weekend! See you guys in August.....Jay
