River Day- October 11th

OK....I know, I know.... It's a late post, but... better late then never!
So this past Monday night the weather was perfect! The fall colors are really starting to peak across the river, as you can see from the pictures. Jay, Pat and I (Tim) were able to make it down this week. As far as the fishing....... well, let's put it this way..... it was a beautiful evening out on the river fishing, I guess there were some fish out there, somewhere!! Jay did manage to get one, Pat and I both came up empty! But it was fun, Just enjoyed being there. As usual, we had the best fire on the river ....Again.!
The pictures were taken from my blackberry, so the quality isn't that great.

River Day 10/04/2010

Jay and I were the only ones able to make it to the river this week, but we still had a nice evening.

We had a little rain this week, and the temperature was probably 20 degrees cooler than last week; fall is definitely here. I'm not sure if you can tell by the picture, but the leaves are showing a little more color. It looks like more leaves are going to go straight from green to brown though, because of the dry summer we had.

Neither of us tried any fishing this week; just not work the trouble because of the rain and water level.

There are three different thermometers at the camp where we usually have River Day. If you look at the pictures you can clearly see that the temp. on Monday was somewhere between 51 and 69 degrees. Just thought it was funny.

(For the record, the 1st one was the closest to the actual temperature)
